A quiet home just outside the Village of Hamburg full of history. Originally bought from the Sears Catalog and delivered to the train station in the Village in 1921. It was then transported to its current location where it was assembled on site and in recent months was renovated and updated while keeping its original charm and character. Renovations included new updated kitchen, updated full bath and adding two half baths one of which is now located on the 2nd floor. A brisk walk to the Pellicano Winery and just a short jaunt to the Hamburg brewery and of course just a mile from route 219 which can take you north to the City of Buffalo and its beautiful waterfront or south to rolling hills and Ellicottville, NY. Come stay in a piece of Hamburg history.

Summary: Our stay at The Nora House @ Footprint Farm was fantastic. This historic Sears Catalog home is full of charm and character, with a beautiful mix of original features and modern updates. The property was impeccably clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The updated kitchen and bathrooms were a highlight, and the new appliances made meal prep a breeze. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful and generous gift bag waiting for us upon arrival. The hosts, Jon and Sara, were exceptional - responsive, kind, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The location was perfect for us – a short drive to both Buffalo and to Bill’s stadium. If you’re looking for a unique and well-appointed property with excellent hosts, this is it. We would absolutely recommend The Nora House.
